Welcome to the December edition of our CIBSE Certification Monthly Newsletter, which contains important news and compliance information.

Suspension Notice

If you have not yet paid your 2017/2018 registration renewal fees we will be suspending you from Monday, 4 December. To make a payment simply call 020 8772 3649 or pay online at www.cibse.org/mycibse.

If you decide to renew after 1 January 2018 you will be charged a reinstatement fee of £50, and you may also be affected by CIBSE Certification's new 2018 registration fee prices - renew today.

iSBEM Software Update

For anyone that uses iSBEM, please be advised that there is a new version, iSBEM_v5.4.a, available to download now.

There is also a revised edition of England’s 2013 NCM Modelling Guide for anyone that is using the ncm methodology.

This software version will include the modifications already incorporated into the beta version, iSBEM_v5.4.a_beta, which was released on 5 October, in addition to the following:

  • Modified specifications for district heating in England’s 2013 Notional building, which follow the revisions of said specifications in the 2013 NCM Modelling Guide.
  • Slightly modified NCM Constructions Database in view of the publication of the SAP 2016 consultation response 

Please note that iSBEM_v5.4.a will maintain the same purposes of analysis offered by iSBEM_v5.3.a.
