CIBSE Certification 2023 CPD audit

We would like to thank all registrants who were selected for audit and have updated their records.  

For those that are finalising their record for the audit please be aware that the record we are auditing is from the option in your MyCIBSE profile under ‘CPD’ followed by ‘MY CPD – CIBSE CERTIFICATION’. 

Those of you that are also members of CIBSE please remember there are different locations to separate corresponding records as there are specific compliance requirements for each. If you require assistance in completing your record please contact the CIBSE Certification team at epc@cibsecertification.org

ESOS Newsletter February 2024 Issue 16

Access the latest issue of the ESOS Newsletter, which provides an update on the Pre-Onboarding exercise for the ESOS Phase 3 IT System and a new link to the January ESOS Webinar recording.

We would like to remind our ESOS Lead Assessors of some of the steps their ESOS clients will need to take in the process of compliance notification to the EA and requirements after that. 

  • Companies will need to set up an account with the gov.uk ESOS compliance page and identify their ESOS Lead Assessor in there, along with all the other details needed.
  • The deadline for the notification of your compliance is the 5 June 2024.
  • Companies will need to complete an ESOS action plan by the action plan deadline of 5 December 2024.
  • Companies will need to complete two annual progress updates in the two years following the action plan deadline.

ACE Wizard compatible with the Lodgement Portal

We are happy to announce that our Lodgement Portal is now compatible for lodgements with ACE Wizard Air Conditioning Inspections tool. 

If any ACI assessor would like to consider using the ACE Wizard software in order to lodge their ACI certificate and report, please contact the software provider.

Heat Networks Code of Practice (CP1)

CIBSE Training has secured grant funding from The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Successful grant applicants can benefit from £500 off the two-day Heat Networks Code of Practice course.

This is only available to delegates living in England. If you are interested in completing the course please contact CIBSE Training at training@cibse.org.

Once you have successfully completed the exam you can then apply to CIBSE Certification for registration to the online HNC register.
