E-newsletter November 2015

Dear Colleague,

The newsletter is going to be quite short this month and the main item is ESOS.  ESOS has dominated recent communications, so apologies to those of you that have not been involved with ESOS, but with the compliance date only a month away, there is a flurry of information coming from the Environment Agency.

ESOS update

The Environment Agency have issued ESOS newsletter No7, which you can access here.

They have provided details on what you need to do if you are going to be late reporting, or more specifically if any of your clients are going to be late reporting.  There is a website for a company to use to notify the EA that they will be late in notifying.

Renewals

I am pleased to report that many of you have completed your renewals process so that our registers continue to be a robust resource for clients looking for your energy performance expertise as appropriate going forward into 2016.  For the few that still need to do this, can I ask you to prioritise it as it is always easier to maintain your presence than to lose it and re-instate it later.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone that is waiting for their ID card and certificate having paid their renewals fee.  We have been experiencing technical difficulties in getting complete sets printed so this process is taking longer than usual this year.  If it is critical that you have your new documents straight away please let us know at epc@cibsecertification.org.

Regards,

Andrew Geens
